A Texas high school football player has died after being found unresponsive at a weekend party with a gunshot wound … and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is getting involved.

And while doing so, noticed a gunshot wound to Coles’ chest.
Per KHOU-11: “Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said it appears that the shooter or shooters “intentionally shot” in the direction of the house party from about a block away. He said the suspects left the scene in a vehicle.”

Coles was reportedly a two-time first-team all-district linebacker with a 4.1 GPA and was planning to attend and play football at Lamar University.
Coles’ funeral was held on Saturday at Celebration of Life: The Light of the World Christian Fellowship Church in Humble. … with Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee and Houston Mayor John Whitmire declaring March 16 “Jarvon Coles Day.”
