During her recent appearance on the 94 WIP podcast, Kylie Kelce recalled the first time that the Chiefs tight end came to see her in Philadelphia. Even though she missed the chance to meet him, Jason did tell her about Travis spending a whopping sum on Marty McFly shoes, with his first NFL contract money.
“Early on when we were dating, Travis came into town, I think, with the Marty McFly shoes. I didn’t have the chance to meet Travis that time but Jason told me, after the fact, how much of a hard time he gave Travis after Travis divulged how much he spent on the shoes. What makes Travis Kelce’s shoes unique is that they are the same pair that Michael J. Fox wore in the movie ‘Back To The Future II’. Currently, this pair is listed on StockX for around $38,500. Along with the Marty McFly shoes, the tight end also got himself a Rolex, the total cost of it remains unknown.
Kylie Kelce reveals being the coach of the house after Jason Kelce’s retirement
Jason Kelce’s NFL retirement brought new “chaos” into his life. However, wife Kylie handles them like a pro. In an interview with PEOPLE last week, Kylie shed light on how her life has changed since Jason’s retirement.
While the couple works as a team to handle the daily challenges, she confessed to being the one wearing the coach’s hat most of the time.
“Now that Jason is retired from playing football and our girls are heading back to school, our days at home look so different than they did a year ago at this time. At the end of the day, Jason and I are a team, trying to keep our household running smoothly in all the chaos, just like so many other families.
“But I do tend to wear the coach’s hat a lot of the time on our team, which helped during this day on set!” Kylie concluded.
While Jason Kelce plans to join the analyst’s role with ESPN, his wife Kylie revealed that she is working towards her own major career plans.
As for her husband’s upcoming job, she has ‘full faith’ that the former Eagles star will ace his job.
